The Switch

It's what I saw in my head after reading her amazing fan-fic!

What's going on in this picture is Arnold and Helga collided. She was knocked to the ground, and this time Arnold is less apologetic about it. I won't say any more, so as not to ruin the story for you.

That's dirt on Arnold by the way. Helga was described as having dirty clothes in the first chapter, so I gave Arnold that same feature. I toyed with drawing him without his hat for a while because I figured that that hat was given to him by his loving parents and he wears it as a reminder of them. But if those parents weren't so loving... I doubt he would continue wearing it all these years. But then, drawing angry Arnold was odd enough, and I couldn't bear seeing him without his hat too. So there. But I would've liked the symbolism of him without the hat better.

And just to clarify things again... Helga's on the ground with her knees up. Some people thought they were her boobs. But alas, Arnold would not be looking so angry if they were, so clearly they really are her legs.

So yes, thank you so much Rebecca for being so awesome all the time. Wish I could do something more!

p.s. If anything looks weird in this picture, it's because I was trying not to use references and draw from within. Turns out my "within" is a pretty strange place where the rules of perspective and anatomy don't apply.
